![]() ![]() There are various tolls on the Garden State ranging from 50 cents to $1 and again, if you have an EZ-Pass paying the toll is a lot easier than going through the toll booth. You are mile marker 127 at this point on the Garden State and the Atlantic City Expressway is at mile marker 138. If you wish to avoid Manhattan then you can take the BQE down to the Verrazano–Narrows Bridge (the cash toll for that is $13 or $9.60 with the formerly mentioned E-Z Pass) take the bridge to Staten Island and the Staten Island Expressway to the Outerbridge Crossing ($8 toll only collected NY bound) and follow signs for the Garden State Parkway south. ![]() Depending on the time of the day there are several routes you can take. ![]() As someone who does this trip from Long Island (Western Nassau County) on a regular basis, I'd say the trip will take you 2 1/2 to 3 hrs depending on traffic. ![]()
